Today’s client is an international student who discovered my work through social media and traveled to my salon for a Magic Straight transformation.
At first glance, her hair appeared extremely fragile. The hair had been previously bleached and toned down, and as often happens with bleached hair, the color had gradually faded and become brighter again over time.
Visually, the hair looked soft and delicate. However, once I carefully examined the hair by hand, I discovered something completely different.
Despite the bleaching history, the hair still maintained remarkable elasticity and internal strength. The roots were especially resistant and much stronger than expected, requiring a very different approach than typical damaged hair.
This is why professional hair analysis is so important.
Hair can appear weak on the surface while remaining surprisingly strong internally. Relying only on appearance can lead to incorrect product selection and inconsistent results.
For this reason, I always analyze the roots, mid-lengths, and ends separately before beginning any Magic Straight service.
