And from deep beneath that land, another current rises — a jungle-tongued, earth-drenched, serpentine and jaguar force that does not belong to one place, but moves through the ancient feminine body of the planet. The energy that came through me carried the pulse of the Amazon — not claimed, not borrowed — but remembered in the blood.
