The Winter Solstice represents a time of regeneration. It is the longest night of the year, symbolic of endings, changes and shifts. As the moon gives birth to the sun, what follows the next day is each day getting longer with sunlight. Because of this transition, the Winter Solstice also represents birth, rebirth and beginnings.

The Winter Solstice meditation focuses on reflection, release and celebration of the cycle of giving and receiving. The Winter Solstice yoga practice highlights three key poses: a seated forward fold; a reclining twist; and supported heart opener, in a Yin Yoga style practice.

This practice was created to calm your nervous system, support healthy digestion, and restore equilibrium in your mind, body and spirit.
