I wrote this song a few years ago and I’m finally able to get it out to you guys! I was born and raised in rural Oklahoma, and wasn’t allowed to celebrate Halloween. Never went trick or treating, and was only allowed to dress up as babe characters. This song was a cathartic way to celebrate a holiday that I missed out on growing up.
Side note, I learned how to dance for this music video! I danced as a kid, but didn’t continue as an adult. Dancing is now a part of my life, and I’m excited to continue taking classes for fun and fitness.
