hey everyone,

I need to shorten my my videos when recording because I am spending SO much time editing, it took me an embarrassing amount of hours to film, edit and upload this, I will try and become more efficient.

I'm kinda sad that after my first semester at language school, I've only gotten a 1 week break, not even that it's more like 6 days. They've flown by and it's already Tuesday and I've only got 1 day left. ;( I'm enjoying language school but damn, the schedule is a lot. So so much homework, my days feel longer than school days. The first few days of my break there were three earthquakes and a typhoon, so I couldn't even go anywhere LMAO. It's been raining the whole week. I had my final test of the semester last week, I got top of my class! I'm moving into an intensive class next week, kinda terrified lol. I am willing to work hard though! I've been pretty good at catching myself on my phone lately and forcing myself to put it down and focus, so I feel a bit more productive than usual.

I finished a book that was recommended to me in the comments, it was 'The Push' by Audrey Adrian, I honestly loved it, I'm still thinking about it. I'd honestly give it 5/5, it was my kind of book. The writing was incredible. I also finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, which had a great story, there were a few things that made is 4/5 stars for me. I just started 'Look Closer' by Daniel Ellis and it's very good so far. I usually read books on the train and have them downloaded to my phone. It's very useful because I can scroll with one hand. Usually on my commute home I don't get a seat, I have to stand and hold the handrail and only get one hand free, and it's about 40 minutes ;/ tedious.

It's 4:35am as I write this, I'm an idiot being up this late again but I was drawing and waiting for this to upload. I can't use the internet while I'm uploading videos because it stops everything else from working. I wanted to do some drawing today so I've been up doing that since midnight. I'm drawing the doll from bloodborne. There was a bloodborne pop-up in shinjuku this week actually, but there wasn't anything too interesting there. I'm very happy with my beautiful lady maria figma that I got awhile ago :) she sits on my desk along with the hunter and a mini figure of the doll I got in ueno.

I went to this bar/club thing with one of my language school friends, it was the most non-club vibe ever if i'm honest. The whole night was anime intro music from before 2014, you could put in requests, i requested mirai nikki. It was nice but idk if I feel overly eager to return. i sent a video of the akame ga kill intro to one of my childhood friends, we used to sit in school and read the manga next to each other without saying a word because we were too shy haha. He said it seemed so dead and the place had the vibe of a funeral. LMFAO.

I also went to a maid cafe last week with the russian girl I met on the train! They made me cast a spell on my pancakes and I was kinda forcing my way though some of the cringe. I did this little dance and everything. I'm forever grateful that it wasn't video recorded, everyone would unsubscribe from how cringey it was LOL. However aside from that the maids were lovely and we had good conversations with them in japanese, also my pancakes were absolutely delicious, I devoured them so quickly. I'm going to a butler cafe tomorrow with one of my classmates, I wonder what it's going to be like. I'm really enjoying the new experiences.

This month has been really on and off, the start of the month was not good at all, and the middle of the month wasn't great either, but the past week has been good. I finally made some more progress on dark souls, I had to enter sen's fortress again in NG+ and died more to fall damage than any enemy. I actually got really really frustrated. I also am mid way though life is strange and let a good character DIE!!! I thought I made all the right choices??! Devastated. Also saved a specific character and it altered the future with chloe... I got shivers...
