ASMR Positive Affirmations at the Dinner Table (Hereditary)
I can't believe I'm finally sharing my Hereditary ASMR video!! I've had this one in the works since about July I think? We've got some positive affirmations, looking through a sketchbook, admiring a lovely necklace, making wishes....you know, all fun stuff!
Some notes- there are NO jump scares in this video. Although it can be read as unnerving in the context of the actual movie, my priority with these types of spooky themed videos is always ASMR first and foremost. I like to make stuff for us horror fans but I am only here to relax you at the end of the day :)
So I hope you enjoy it and lots of love to my fellow horror lovers! We like to have feel-good relaxing content too! heh. I hope you can catch all the references I included, there are also some tidbits from other A24 movies so see if you can catch them all!
This video is not green screened! I hand painted the mural behind me to match the scene from the movie. It took about 3 days to paint in total. As well I sculpted the necklace, created our little bird friend, and drew the tiny drawings.
This is kind of neat- the jacket I am wearing is the exact same brand that Toni Colette wears in the actual movie. Huge thank you to my lovely friend Betty for hunting that down for me on ebay- I don't know how she does it, absolute genius detective work. Also now I've taken to wearing it around the house because it's very comfortable. I guess I'm leaning into the character a bit.
