Hey! Hi! Today I’ve got a little soft-spoken show & tell ramble video for you!
I talk about finally getting started with film photography, the camera I currently use, some film I like and photos I’ve taken. You’ll see me tapping, tracing and fiddling around with a camera, film canisters, my iPad, and an old photo album with crinkly sleeves. I stumbled across an old roll of film full of pictures I took sometime around 2000-2003, so I show a few photos that actually survived and got developed as well.
I’ve really enjoyed the thoughtfulness involved in shooting on film, where you don’t get the chance to endlessly snap photos until you get it right. There’s magic in the delayed gratification and there’s warmth and beauty in the imperfection of it all. I’m still learning, but I’ve enjoyed the process so far. If you’ve been thinking of getting into film photography, take this as a sign to go for it!
Hope you enjoy the video, even if it’s for a bit of background noise! See you again another time, I hope, but until then, stay well, stay well-rested, and take care, friends! ☺️❤️
