Gaye holud'/ haldi ceremony which actually originated from Indian mythology, ๐ผโจin the story of Shiva & Sita Maa,๐ they used turmeric on their body for the purification & to become more beautiful ,โจOn the wedding day morning this ritual is first performed in the groom's household โฃ๏ธ ,and as per the ritual, the groom's family sends the remaining turmeric paste with some gifts, to the bride's house for her gaye holud ceremony/haldi ceremony, โคโจYes as per the ritual the bride wears yellow saree, ๐ผbut nowadays all the relatives wear yellow sarees as well.This ritual is performed not by a pries , but by 5 or 7 married woman, โคand all the relatives have lots of fun during this ritual.And finally through various rituals, the bride's bathing needs to be done in this ceremony.โค๐ผ
