Massage is one of my favorite types of ASMR, when I really can’t sleep I always go for this type of video. This is my first time trying to make one myself, so I hope you like it! In this video I am massaging my husband’s beard, as well as doing some grooming (adding in some Wild Willie’s beard butter) and combing. Towards the end I added in a little neck and shoulder massage with some lotion. He was really relaxed by the end and getting sleepy!
What is ASMR?
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a calming, pleasurable feeling often accompanied by a tingling sensation. This tingle is said to originate in a person's head and spread to the spine (and sometimes the limbs) in response to stimulation. The stimuli that trigger ASMR vary from person to person. ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli.
