Natural aloe Vera powder mixed with water:

The aloe Vera plant has been used for thousands of years due to its medicinal and cosmetic benefits. Known as ‘the miracle plant’ in China, aloe is high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Excellent for skin health, wound healing, constipation and digestive issues, reduces dental plaque, lowers blood sugar and has anti inflammatory properties.


Lavender water: used for its cleansing and purifying properties since ancient times. Helps with sunburn and skin irritations, improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and is a great treatment for acne and shaving rash.

Lavender can soothe the scalp, give shine to your hair when used as a rinse and for those with children, it makes an excellent lice repellent. As well as aloe, lavender can speed up wound healing, minimises the risk of infection as well as supporting scalp health and hair growth.


Beauty oil ~ olive oil, vitamin E oil, lavender essential oil and castor oil.

Olive oil: makes an excellent carrier oil. Contains antioxidants, vitamins and antibacterial properties. It is a natural moisturiser and can protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. It gently exfoliates and reduces inflammation and it may help to reduce damage caused by ultra violet radiation.

Vitamin E oil: helps to reduce the appearance of scars and wrinkles. Soothes skin complaints such as eczema. It fights against free radical damage and boosts the skin’s protective barrier. Vitamin E oil also helps to moisturise, soften and nourish the skin.

Castor oil: a vegetable oil derived from the castor oil plant mostly grown in Africa. Used to prevent wrinkles, reduce puffiness, soothe sunburn, moisturise the skin, fight acne and promote skin health. Castor oil is a thick substance so it is better mixed with a carrier oil such as olive, almond or coconut.

It contains fatty acids including omega 6 and ricinoleic acid. You can use it directly on the scalp to increase blood circulation and improve hair growth. It is an excellent moisturiser that penetrates deep into the skin and boosts collagen production. Its anti fungal properties helps to fight spots and bacteria and it can be used for oil pulling to support healthy teeth and gums. Some people use it to encourage thicker and longer eyelashes and eyebrows. It can be used as a lip balm and it can also be added to eucalyptus or cayenne pepper as a natural and effective muscle rub.
