Hair Salon ASMR | Magic Straight – Ultra Smooth Precision
This client had never been bleached, but years of repeated high-lift coloring had weakened the hair to a level comparable to severely damaged hair. Although it appeared healthy at first glance, each section reacted differently and required a completely customized approach.
For this corrective magic straightening, the roots, mid-lengths, and ends were carefully analyzed and treated separately using a precise three-section, three-touch application. The relaxing process was adjusted according to the condition of each section, with careful pH control to ensure a safe and even reaction throughout the hair.
During ironing, a hybrid dry and wet technique with multiple temperature adjustments was used to protect the hair while achieving maximum smoothness. Every pass was controlled to minimize unnecessary stress and preserve the integrity of the hair fiber.
In corrective straightening, pH control is everything. If the pH is too high or too low for the hair's condition, the hair may fail to straighten properly or become over-processed. When the pH is precisely matched to each section, the hair relaxes smoothly and evenly—almost as if it melts like snow.
The result is soft, silky, naturally straight hair with movement, while preserving as much of the hair's strength and beauty as possible.
