What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response, a biological reaction that some people may experience when they hear, see, or feel certain satisfying triggers such as whispering, tapping, brushing, or typing. It is best known for causing tingly sensations, relaxation and comfortable feelings.
Because of this, many people use ASMR as a way to help relax and soothe their mind and bodies before falling asleep. It can be used for meditation, and sound therapy and is a natural sleep aid. I watch ASMR every night to fall asleep - and several times throughout the day as a part of my self-care practice to keep my body, mind & spirit healthy and balanced.
