Trying to Understand Pokémon Types So I Might Win the Gym Battles (ASMR Soft Spoken, Card Pulls)

I’m honestly not very good at Pokémon yet, so I’m trying to actually learn how types work before I keep playing Soul Silver and losing battles. In this video I pull cards for the Pokémon I’ve run into in the first two gyms (and the woods around them), then look them up in my Pokémon Ultimate Handbook to figure out their types - writing everything down on index cards so I remember it for next time. Soft spoken, slow paced, with some card and page-turning sounds. If you’re also new to this and trying to figure it out as you go, maybe this helps both of us.
