Ep 7 Write-up:
Naegan quickly determined that the noble in the brothel was the escaped mage, Glass-staff, who the party was looking to capture. He didn’t make a move immediately, instead opting to hire some prostitutes of his own, and stay the night at The Lusty Dryad. In the morning Naegan used a bit of magic to convince the matron of the establishment to give up some information about the mage, who had already departed ahead of him.
The party got together and decided to outfit their goblin friend Troy, as well as stock up on supplies before leaving town. Each of the adventurers used their contacts in the city to track down Glass-staff and send an invitation to the mage, a meeting to trade for valuable alchemical supplies that he would doubtless take.
Glass-staff arrived and sprung the trap set on the front door of Eyvanna’s house, but trickery was afoot. Several members of the mages retinue were disguised, and the adventurers had to act quickly to find and stop the real Glass-staff from escaping. They escorted him to prison, along with his Tiefling ‘escorts’.
Unfortunately, things were about to get more complicated, as the Tome of Uncertainty that Naegan carried teleported Eyvanna all the way back to Phandolin, and into the bedroom of the town’s mayor, who was far from a fan....
