Hello friend.
I wanted to create a session to support though who deal with chronic flight or fight, or freeze mode. It is a very difficult state to operate from and we get stuck in it.
I have dealt with this before after traumatic experiences which were beyond my control. It is something that had come up again after my emergency surgery last year. In some areas I began to Freeze which made me feel locked within myself. Other times I felt Fight with my heart racing and what I can only describe as an intense rage like feeling and cortisol spiking. Tense, on edge, difficulty sleeping, caring for myself, connecting with my husband all because my nervous system was programed by the trauma. I had to learn more ways to assure safety. To teach and affirm to my body that we are safe.
