What is ASMR? ASMR stands for Autonomous sensory meridian response. It refers to the tingly feeling people get when hearing or experience various things. Examples include but are not limited to: tapping sounds, medical examinations, breathing sounds, whispers, light exams, face exams, being spoken to softly close to their ears, hair brushing, eating sounds, drinking sounds, and the list goes on and on. When you experience ASMR, you feel a tingling sensation begin at your head and move downwards followed by a very calm feeling, resulting in sleep, relief from anxiety, better focus, etc.

About me:
I have 10 years of experience in publishing, photography, videography, graphic design, prop design, etc. Due to battling a neurological disorder (FND) caused by long covid, I have been home bound for over a year. I've started this channel as a hobby because I can put all of my skill to use on my own time on good days... and I really enjoy acting.
Note: In some of my videos you may notice a slight tremor, muscle twitching or spasms, this is because of my neurological disorder and I hope it does not take away from your relaxation. I also apologize for the squeaky chair, I need good support in case I have a seizure or faint while filming. I appreciate your support and understanding.

What is FND? Functional Neurological Disorder.
Well, it's almost like your nervous system having a stroke over and over again. A communication problem happens between the brain and nervous system which causes misfiring. This misfiring results in physical and mental symptoms. I suffer from a wide range of symptoms from temporary paralysis, tremors, spasms, non-epileptic seizures, speech issues, to dementia and more. Many things can trigger FND, my doctors believe mine is a result of long covid. It can go into remission(mine has not) but can relapse at anytime when stressed or sick. It is like living with MS, Parkinson's Disease, Epilepsy, Tourette's, Cerebral Palsy, and Stroke symptoms all rolled into one with no medication.
