ASMR: The 'Wow! Signal', Space Mystery Facts | Ear-to-ear Whispering
In 1977, astronomer Jerry Ehman detected a strong signal from space that was rather unique in nature. Ehman wrote "Wow!" on the computer printout to note his surprise. It remains one of the most significant candidates for potential alien radio transmission, and thus works quite well for the channel.
