A gentle reminder that other people aren’t here to please you. If my interests trigger you, maybe do some work on yourself, but thanks for the engagement and boost for the algorithm anyway!
I was a London party girl for 5 years, I've done it, I find that boring now.
In a world that’s imo becoming more and more homogeneous* (which isn’t inherently bad), I’ve recently noticed my sub/conscious attempts to silence my interests, appear more ordinary with my appearance - be it with fashion or my hair - to try to blend in. To try to not get comments, or stares, or trolls online. I’m tired of this narrative. Be you. As long as you’re not hurting anyone else, be you. It’s allowed and it’s okay. To the trolls; I’m sorry people never let you be yourself, or mocked you when you were. I hope you find the things you need in life. If I’m not for you, that’s fine, block me or scroll away. There are over 8bil people in the world. Find them - the ones that light you up - and spread love. There’s enough darkness. Don’t be that person adding to it. We’re all trying our best. ❤️
(*Homogeneous definition: consisting of parts or people that are similar to each other or are of the same type)
