Hi everyone,

I've been incredibly busy lately and I really need your help.

I'm using my earnings to help my boyfriend with his legal issue. He was involved in a car accident three years ago. Thanks to your support and the organization for people with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities where he works tirelessly, we've managed to secure an attorney and reduce his legal debt. Initially, the lady he crashed into demanded $82,000 MXN, but we’ve successfully negotiated it down to $60,000 MXN. This amount was split in half, and now we pay $3,000 MXN monthly for ten months.

I've been covering these payments because he’s unable to save money. He’s raising an 11-year-old boy whose mother recently passed away, which makes his financial situation even more challenging.

Right now, I have just enough money to last a few days. While my mother and my friend Eddie have been helping, I'm still falling behind on my essentials, plus I don't wanna take more than what I can ask. I have to be honest: I have only enough for about 2-3 days. I’m still waiting for their assistance, and I feel ashamed for overextending myself because it leaves me in situations like this. Unfortunately, I don't have a stable job here in Mexico, but have been looking forward to become a practician or a temp on an audiovisual production company, without pay, in order to graduate from university (major in Communication Techniques and Strategies)

I'm deeply worried because I feel like I'm sacrificing myself. My rent is over $6,500 MXN ($352 USD), and my university won’t give me any discounts after this quarter. They will charge me over $5,000 MXN ($271 USD) monthly now, instead of the usual $3,300 MXN ($178 USD). After supporting my partner, I have very little left.
