He’s a black cat, around three years old, from the neighborhood where I live in Yucatán, Mexico.
His story is heartbreaking. According to the family at the grocery store next to my house, he was abandoned by the previous tenants who used to live here. His siblings were brutally killed, poisoned, and sacrificed.
Despite everything, Scott is still here.
He has trust issues… but somehow, he trusted me from the very beginning. And that means everything.
I really want to take care of him. He doesn’t deserve this life.
I see myself in him. 🖤
