The new Rose of Versailles movie got me inspired for audio roleplays 💜 I used to love stories about lady knights, and nobles crossdressing when I was a little girl. There's quite a lot of French historical figures that were into crossdressing. The most famous one from France is probably Chevalier d’Eon, who spied on the court of Russia for the crown as a woman, but also served the king as a man. Julie D’Aubigny, an opera singer who loved to fight, was a big obsession of mine in middle school.

I am into monsters so I wanted to include some trivia about the Gevaudan Beast, an IRL event from French history.

I tried to keep my voice even for this one but it was honestly SO HARD. I kept bumping into the mic trying to push my voice down and trying to keep my jaw a bit more locked than usual.
