A special tribute and cover of one of my favorite tunes, in honor of Billie Holiday's birthday today!
"God Bless the Child" is a song written by Billie Holiday and Arthur Herzog, Jr. in 1939. It was first recorded on May 9, 1941
Since I only just found out it was Ms. Holiday's birthday today in the afternoon, this cover was quite a bit rushed. This was all done in one take - it's probably closer to frisson than ASMR, but I hope that you will enjoy it nonetheless!!
