Cristhian has been barbering for 9 years and says, “it all started for fun, not to stay indoors but then it became a reason for living . . . ” Currently, Cristhian is the store manager for @anelis_barber_shop in Battipaglia (the city of mozzarella).

Every year, he loves to travel and visit a different barbershop around the world 🌍 This year it was his first time visiting New York City, and he did lots of great sightseeing! Cristhian also found a lot of fascinating history within the NYC Barber Shop Museum💈

Inside this shop you experience a private setting surrounded by barbershop history and memorabilia that shop owner Arthur Rubinoff has been collecting for more than 25 years.
You literally will be sitting alongside an 1898 Americana prototype barbers chair, a 1901 towel steamer that would have also been used to sterilize shop instruments, and an antique clockwork barber pole. When you enter the shop, you are greeted with a photo of Arthur's father and some of his barbering tools.
Arthur says barbershops used to be social clubs; a place where people came together. That is what NYC Barber Shop Museum provides - a place to come and enjoy time in peace and understanding.
