This audio roleplay is a work of fiction. The narrative is imaginary but draws inspiration from a real historical figure.

Joan of Arc was a military leader, known for her devotion to her God and her kingdom. She became a medieval saint patron of France in 1920.
Joan swore a vow of virginity, annulled her arranged marriage as a young girl, and led the Kingdom of France on behalf of Charles VII.

I have been watching and reading a lot about Joan of Arc lately. She is a figure that is quite mysterious, and extremely present in France. Joan of Arc had no military training, was the daughter of a well-off plowman, and educated with marriage in mind.

It's incredible how she managed to persuade the French army that she was indeed hearing angels, and having visions from the Lord. Predicting things that would later arrive, proving her purity, and putting on men's apparel to fight. No matter if you think of her as a saint, or a delirious woman, it is quite impressive what she managed to achieve for such a young girl.

After all, she left her home at 15/16 years old to go ask for an escort to cross lands conquered by the English army in order to meet the king. According to her, the angels of the lord came to her with a mission: save France from its oppressors by fighting for the rightful king. It took her close to a year to convince people that she could indeed hear the angels, and that she was the young maiden from the prophecies. At the time, prophecies were already circulating about a woman who would sacrifice herself and save the Kingdom of France from the English.

Several women tried to impersonate her once the King of France nullified the court judgment recognizing her as a witch and leading to her immolation. One of these women even got recognized by one of her brothers as the real maiden of Arc. This was probably a political move from him since Joan's aura directly impacted the family name, their business, and importance in the community.

I hope you enjoy this audio roleplay 🤍 I had a lot of fun improvising this script, and tried to add tingles like whispers ( ´ ▽ ` ).｡ｏ♡ I was looking for a setting where my french accent works well, as I think it's pleasing to some of you. And unfortunately, the more I attempt to hide my accent, the stronger it becomes. So maybe Joan of Arc is a good pick?

I really want to do more ASMR focused audio roleplay on her, for a listener both on her side and on the enemy's (starting when she's captured). If you want more knight lady asmr, be it aggressive asmr or relaxing soft spoken scripts, please do tell me ( ꈍ◡ꈍ)

I also really want to do more fictional asmr based on historical events, I find it so fun to create imaginary situations.
