In this video stylist Wendy Adrian cleans up my hairdo for our travels across the California Desert ๐ต Wendy is from North Dakota and has been working as a stylist for 28 years. Hair runs in the family; Wendyโs dad is a barber and owns Gils Barber Shop in North Dakota. Wendy says hair is something she has always loved.

The Beauty Bubble is the hair brain creation of Jeff Hafler, who shares his collection of over 3,000 vintage and quirky hair and beauty related artifacts from hair-dryers and curling irons to hair nets and shampoo advertisements. Located in the Southern California desert town of Joshua Tree, The Beauty Bubble Salon and Museum makes for a very fun and quirky roadside attraction NOT to be missed!
For everyone who stops by the salon, it is a very nostalgic place that reminds people of their mom or grandma. Jeff says, โEverybody has a memory attached to something in here it seems like. People are just getting the biggest kick out of it.โ
