Hey everyone, I hope you’re all having a nice Christmas :)

My grandparents came over and we had lots of food, watched some movies, opened presents. It was really nice. We got a bunch of cocktail ingredients so I made mojitos and sex on the beach’s, they were SO good!! I honestly was so impressed with the recipes I found, I wasn’t expecting it to taste exactly like the pub lol. I definitely want to learn to make some others. Watched National Lampoon’s as usual, genuinely the funniest Christmas film ever (in my opinion). Anyway, I’m overjoyed because I got some new slippers, my other ones were disgusting and falling to pieces, like the insoles had worn down on the inside, so when I put my foot in my toes would feel these small craters in my slipper LOL. My feet feel so warm and comfy in these new ones! I got a nice fragrance, a few makeup top ups, new pair of jeans and some chocolate too :) I got my mum a ceramic watercolour mixing palette because she’s been really into it this year, and her mixing palettes were not good quality, so I’me excited for her to use that.

Funniest thing I got an idea about from some TikTok I saw was to write a Christmas card addressed to my family from someone they don’t know. So I wrote my dad a fake Christmas card and put ‘Must get out for a beer this year’ from ‘Nigel and Margaret’, he couldn’t figure out who it was, and was trying to think of who it might be. I was fighting to contain my laughter, in the end he was pretty convinced at who it was, he was wracking his brain and remembered a Nigel, and my brother goes “Yeah but is his wife called Margaret?” and it was just so freaking funny, my mum was in on it and she couldn’t even face my family because she was trying so hard not to laugh. The card is sat on the windowsill. I’m going to do it again next year but send a moonpig one or something, make it super realistic.

In a way I’m slightly glad Christmas is over, my family were stressing out so much over it, making sure the house was clean, everything prepped. So at least everyone can relax a bit. I’ve been under a lot of pressure because I have a driving test soon, I got it on a cancellation app because the UK’s driving system is in SHAMBLES, I’ve been trying to get a test for over a year ;_; and I have to get used to the clutch on the family car because I haven’t driven it in so long! I can drive, the mistakes I make are usually small and out of nerves, and when I concentrate hard on one thing I can forget something minor like an obvious mirror check before a roundabout, even though I’m observant, it’s got to be in the way the examiners want. Anyway, I’m out everyday practicing, I just hope it all goes well :’) Conquer driving on YouTube is gonna save my ass lol

Tomorrow is gonna be a chill day, gonna play the bloodborne DLC because I only have a couple bosses left on the main game, I’d like to finish the last of us as well. I’ve got lots of games I want to play but haven’t had much time lately. This month has been such a rush, I’ve not gone out at all but it has just passed by so quickly. I hate it when things feel so fast.
