The root volume of the top of the head is the lifeblood of mothers’ perm.~~
If the rod is immediately rolled up, the root column will not stand well.
So, I soften it and leave it open so that the perm agent can enter the cuticle sufficiently, and when the softening is finished, apply fresh reducing agent again and go into winding.
If you want a lot of root volume, you can get a much more satisfying and voluminous feeling if you do it one more time before perming the entire root.
