Hi! Thank you for reading the description. I wanted to use my platform to speak out for Black Lives Matter and racial injustice. We all have a voice no matter how big or small and I urge you to use it, no matter how scared you may be to do so. Stand up for what you believe in and do your best to educate yourself and others. If you don’t know a lot about BLM that’s okay! There are dozens of videos and posts explaining the movement all over various social media’s that you can learn from and understand. This is not the time to choose ignorance, by choosing to ignore the injustice POC are facing you are siding with the oppressor. This is more than just George Floyd’s heartbreaking murder, but about all of the lives being lost because of our “protectors” abusing their power. We need to take a stand! Speak up and be loud! This is how we change and evolve as a society and as human beings. No one should live in fear because of the pigmentation of their skin. It is devastating and crushing to know that anyone has to be scared of those who are hired to protect our communities. If you want to help, educate yourself if you haven’t already, donate to causes fighting racial injustice, sign petitions, etc. You can help no matter how big or small you feel your contribution is.
