Unintentional ASMR: visiting a public market in Cuenca for a "limpia" (cleansing) ritual [音フェチ]
We visited the 10 de Agosto market in Cuenca, Ecuador to have a cleaning or purification by a traditional faith healer. Spiritual cleansings are an ancient tradition in South America and a “cleaning” helps to bring the body’s energy into balance, cure “mal ojo” (evil eye), and alleviate stress.
As you can see from the large number of babies and children who were receiving spiritual cleansings, many believe that children can have “evil eye” or “mal ojo”, which is cured through purifications or cleanings.
