IMPORTANT: if you are new to exercising your calves, please proceed with caution and work safely within your own limits. If you are in any doubt, please leave a comment and I will get back to you. I strongly suggest you only do a couple of these exercises if you do not normally address this area of your body. If however, you are a hardened calf'er then give this a go. I did three sets of each of these and several hours later, I'm very aware of that.

If anyone is interested, there is another similar video on my other channel although it is not for the calves.

I'm craving celery and salt. Completely irrelevant but just wanted to share that with you.

This is very familiar territory for me. Not just because I'm in my bedroom but because this is what I do each morning or afternoon as part of my yoga. Yes, I also do it in a skirt or a dress or in my knickers, although the latter would not happen by the bedroom window, just in case you are planning on camping out in my front garden. Glad we got that straight. There is however, something magical about that part of my bedroom...an energy and presence that exudes warmth and goodness.

The calves...beautiful part of the body. Often overlooked by many people during their training. These exercises are suitable for everyone; dancers, yogis, runners, weightlifters, power lifters, asmr artists, grandmothers and fathers and aunts and brothers and everyone.

I want to draw attention to the importance of finding balance in both your physical and spiritual life. If you focus only on one thing, something else will likely suffer. Therefore, take the time to address those parts of your body or mind that require a little extra love and nurturing.

By the very nature of these exercises, your feet will also get a workout.

The exercises and stretches are very straightforward and so I did not talk through them because I felt that the language spoken, albeit not verbal, was universal. Do however ask if you have a question and I will always reply. Of late, I have gone to reply to comments, only to find that they've since been deleted. Not entirely sure why.

Yes, there are skin sounds and carpet sounds and the gentle tick tock of a clock somewhere in the corner of my bedroom. I truly hope that you enjoy just a moment of this and maybe, you will incorporate this somewhere into your day or week.
