💧💚~Marimo Moss Balls & How to Propagate Them~💚💧 ASMR Whispered
Read me!! 🎁 Good evening! Over the summer I really got back into my aquarium hobby and I wanted to spend some time with you as I clean and propagate my moss balls. I really love moss balls as an addition to almost any aquarium and have owned the ones I am showing you in this video for a handful of years now.
Unfortunately Marimo moss balls are currently banned (in the US and Canada) for distribution and selling purposes :(. There are invasive mussel species called 'zebra and/or Quagga mussels ' that can hitchhike with the moss balls when imported which can cause some serious issues in the natural eco systems around the world when they end up in lakes and rivers through ballast water and other ways. I do not go into depth about this in the video but I thought it was good knowledge to share in case you were planning on trying to buy Marimo moss balls yourself.
