A classic old school barbershop haircut experience with Joe Bugni aka "The Butcher of Amherst Street" in Butte, Montana.
Joe was recommended to us by Rob Hammer who had photographed Joeโs shop for his book "Barbershops of America." Rob graciously helped us out by connecting us with Joe.
Joe was very welcoming when we met him and quite the character too. He is 79 years old and has been barbering for decades. When you walk into his shop, youโll see it is full of collections of items, pictures, and clippings brought in over time by his customers. Also, he continues to only charge $5 for haircuts since his rent hasnโt gone up in a few decades!
