Lloyd’s Near-Death Experience… A Wake-Up Call | ASMR Community Tribute I’m making this video today Not because of drama or trends, but because someone in our ASMR family—Lloyd from Lloyd’s ASMR—went through something truly terrifying.
Early one morning, while using a VR headset, he started to feel like he was being electrocuted… He couldn’t move, his body locked up, tingling and numbness spread all over.
He tried to get to his girlfriend—who’s been battling her own challenges with MS—but he collapsed before he could even reach her.
Can you imagine? You’re in your home, playing a game, and suddenly your whole body is shutting down. He thought it was the end.
She called 911. The ambulance rushed him to the hospital. CAT scans. MRIs. X-rays. And what they found? A foreign object lodged in his temple.
It turns out… it was a shotgun pellet.
From twenty years ago—when his neighbor was doing target practice. He had no idea it had stayed in his head all this time.
The scariest part is, even after all the tests, they also found spinal issues—mild disc bulges, narrowing in the spine, and he’s now being referred to a spinal surgeon.
That could’ve been me. It could’ve been any of us.
Lloyd’s story is a powerful reminder that we’re all walking around with things we don’t even realize we’re carrying… old trauma, pain, stress, even literal pellets—buried in us.
And then one day, your body sounds the alarm.
