How powerful should a home vacuum cleaner be?
A vacuum cleaner for dry cleaning of a smooth floor should have a suction power of at least 300 W, and for a pile carpet - from 450 to 600 W. For a washing vacuum cleaner, the optimal power is 400-500 watts. A vacuum cleaner with high suction power from 800 W can be used to clean a small private hotel or cafe.
Do I need to vacuum before mopping floors?
Be sure to take rags separately for the kitchen, separately for the bathroom, separately for the rooms. Next - a vacuum cleaner and wet cleaning. If there is a malfunction, then I would advise first vacuuming, dusting, and then vacuuming again and washing the floors at the end.
