Many viewers often see only the flat iron press work, but before the press even begins, the chemical softening process is the real foundation of magic straightening.

Because of that, I could not approach the hair aggressively.
I carefully adjusted the pH balance and started with a separate first-touch process around the roots, then softened the damaged mid-lengths and ends with a gentler second-touch formula.
When the softening process is done correctly, even fragile frizzy hair begins responding smoothly without excessive force.
That is why I always believe magic straightening is not about pressing harder with heat.
