A Weekend in Tahoe as a Newbie Skier With Snowboarding Friends
The first snow weekend of the year ⛷️ only took till February! It’s my first season pass, and I’ve been antsy to get to Tahoe, but the weather hasn’t been accommodating.
Felt good to make it out there. Saw lots of friends and worked on my craft. Slept in the back of my boyfriend’s cold truck. Drank beer and all around had a great time. Wish we could go back more often, but it’s a far drive to make every weekend.
Fun fact: My boyfriend and I started dating 2 years ago this weekend. Danny, Esmé and I visited him in Bend, Oregon for a ski trip. They were friends with him, and I had a crush on him. He taught me how to ski that weekend, and here we are again, exactly 2 years later!
