Hello my lovely cuties! 🥹🫶
This is easily my most ambitious video to date. It’s also the very first one that’s not a re-creation of older short-form content I’ve made before. Because of that, I felt SO much freer to just do whatever I wanted with a blank slate, and it felt amazing.
I have to admit, I didn’t know much about Vikings other than the regular pop culture stuff. But I ended up learning SOOO much while making this video, it put an end to a bunch of myths I thought were true lol. Who else learned something new watching this? Let me know below!
Keep in mind, there actually aren’t many written accounts from Vikings themselves since they didn’t write much down. So a lot of what we know comes from other people’s writings and educated guesses based on archaeological findings and things like that.
There’s sooo much more I want to explore, like Norse Myth for example (which I’ll definitely make a separate video about hehe), but for now I had to pick just one focus and try not to go on a million tangents 😂. I know there’s a lot more to Viking culture and literally every culture I cover, but even what I’ve learned so far has lowkey changed my life.
I just love learning. I love knowledge. And I feel sooo insanely happy and privileged to be able to share that with you as my job 🥹
