In this soft-spoken ASMR video, I talk about the heartbreaking story of the Leesburg Stockade Girls—at least 15 young girls, ages 12 to 15, who were arrested during the civil rights era in 1963 and secretly held in an abandoned jail in Leesburg, Georgia for 45 days.
Their families didn’t know where they were. These girls were locked away simply for protesting segregation.
I’m not a historian or expert—just someone who heard their story and felt it was important to share. This is a quiet, thoughtful space to reflect on a piece of history that deserves to be remembered.
