Hello everyone! This video was actually filmed three months ago, and I'm only just now getting around to posting it... but my Duolingo streak is still going strong! I’ve been debating whether to continue the streak after hearing the news that the app laid off employees to replace them with AI (gross).

Thankfully, I’ve never actually paid for Super Duolingo or Duolingo Max—I've managed to keep this long streak going just by being patient with the endless ads. So when I got a free 3-day trial of Super Duolingo, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to film this video! (I actually tried to make this before, but my screen recording failed.)

I’ll admit, I don’t think Duolingo is a great language learning app—it’s more of a language reviewing app. I definitely recommend taking real classes if you want to learn a language seriously, and using Duolingo as a supplemental tool to practice.
