It has been 812 days since the Freaker outbreak tore through the world. The infected roam the forests, stalk the highways, and gather in massive hordes across Oregon. Raiders take what they want, and the Rippers, a violent cult, believe that pain and suffering are a path to salvation. You are a drifter, a lone survivor traveling between surviving communities and taking on dangerous jobs in exchange for camp credits, the currency used to acquire weapons and other essential supplies. You're trying to survive, just like everyone else. Tonight, you’ve set up a temporary camp in the wilderness. After stepping away briefly to collect firewood, you return to see a woman approaching your campsite, unaware that you’re already nearby and watching her.

Hi friends! Soo, this is a littttllle bit different than what I normally do here! I wanted to make something a tiny bit more immersive for you all from a visual standpoint to really put you in the story. I'm well aware this is not perfect by any means. I just wanted to do something different and fun and I hope you enjoy it regardless. :)
This is Part 1 of what will (hopefully) be an ongoing long-term series based in the universe of the video game 'Days Gone'. The idea is that you should be able to enjoy it without knowing anything about the game, as it really just takes place in the games world with references to characters and places.
