In 1936, photographers from Country Life magazine were working on the main staircase of Raynham Hall when one of them purportedly saw an ethereal, veiled figure descending the steps. The resulting image became one of the most famous ghost photographs of all time. This is the story of the Brown Lady of Raynham Hall.
