As one of my New Year resolutions, I want to learn Korean alphabet and the language (after debating between learning Korean or Japanese). In this video you will study with me the first 10 Korean vowels (I will also be learning the Korean characters used in North Korea but that South Korea does not use). The Korean alphabet is called hangul and was created in the 15th century by the King Sejong the Great. The hangul characters are really beautiful and Korean is a beautiful language overall. Below are the first 10 vocals we studied on this lesson:

Eo: ㅓ
Yeo: ㅕ
O: ㅗ
Yo: ㅛ
U: ㅜ
Yu: ㅠ
Eu: ㅡ
I: ㅣ
As I am a visual and kinesthetic learner, I will be using pictures, drawings and writing to learn the 한글 hangul alphabet (Korean alphabet). You will enjoy scribbling, paper sounds, tapping and tracing.
