We are back with our final video from Argentina featuring Julio Pan! ✨ He says, “I’ll Give A Haircut How I Want… I Will Make You Even More Handsome!” ✨ This is the shortest my hair has been cut since starting the channel!
Julio is 64 years old and has been cutting hair for 42 years 🙌🏼
⚽️ After being a soccer player and not earning much, a casual comment from the mother of his older children set him on a new path. She told him he had “pianist’s hands” and suggested he learn hairdressing. He laughed at first, but he listened.
Without knowing anything about the trade, Julio signed up for an expensive advanced course. He spent two years washing hair and learning from a women’s hairdresser who taught him how to cut hair. From there, he went on to train in both men’s and women’s cuts 💇🏻♂️
Julio's place is truly a neighborhood barbershop where everyone comes not just for a haircut but to hang out. Fathers stop by with their sons for a haircut and a game of foosball. Julio has snacks, drinks and hot dogs that he offers to everyone. And of course his cat is named Maradona 🐈🐾
He doesn’t rush into a haircut. He sits with each person, listens to them, and makes sure they feel at home. “I want people to feel like they’re in a club,” he says. That connection - real conversation, empathy, and being supportive of those who need it is what he emphasizes the most ❤️
Julio says, "I’m a humble guy, who went crazy trying to learn this beautiful trade - being a hairdresser, barber, coiffeur, or whatever you want to call it." He adds, "I thank God for having discovered this beautiful job.” 💈✨
