ASMR 🧠Awake Brain Surgery | Cranial Nerve Exam, Sensation Testing

The Cozy Hospital ASMR
Published 8 months ago

Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You're having surgery today due to a mass in your brain and because it's located very close to the parts of your brain that control language, sensation and cognitive function, your surgeon will need to have you awake for a portion of the surgery to run some tests with you as to avoid injuring your brain function in any way.

*** I know there will be some folks who would have wanted me to wear loupes; with the nature of this roleplay being a bit on the potentially anxiety-inducing side for some, I wanted to make sure people could clearly see my eyes to feel more comfortable and also feel more humanity from the 'surgeon'. And also... Even with the AC on, with my photography lights etc the room is still 73-75 degrees and even hotter toward the end. It gets really claustrophobic feeling when glasses fog up and I'm that hot. When the weather gets colder, I'll make another video with loupes. Promise.

6:34 Surgery starts, cleaning you, scalpel, bone saw
11:34 Waking you up, still in surgery
12:28 Follow the light
16:39 Sensation testing with pinwheel
21:32 Sensation testing with cotton bud
23:48 Language testing - working on your brain while you recite lyrics from memory

Please be aware that this video is intended for entertainment, relaxation, sleep aid and ASMR purposes. It is not meant to diagnose, treat, educate or accurately depict issues or illnesses or procedures. Many of the procedures are altered for ASMR purposes and because I'm not filming in an actual medical facility. (Some of them are completely fictional they just involve neat sounds.) Please consult your doctor or a reputable health care source if you have any health questions or concerns.
