Is it just me or is life starting to feel like a luxury no one asked for? 😩
When did the bare minimum start requiring a fat bank account?? Because lately I’ve been looking at my bank app like… “we really paid what for that?” 😭
Here are 8 things that used to feel normal but now got me rethinking everything:
🚗 1. Gas – I used to fill up my tank without thinking. Now I’m calculating which trips are really necessary.
📺 2. Streaming services – I used to pay like $10 for Netflix. Now I have to choose just one like it’s a monthly subscription to joy 😅
🍔 3. Eating out – That burger place I loved so much? One meal = $20. Be so serious.
🎤 4. Concerts – I’d much rather blast a playlist while driving with the windows down than spend $1,000 to stand in a crowd. Let’s not.
🏋️♀️ 5. Gym memberships – Between the price and my schedule, my workout lately has been powerwalking through Target.
💅 6. Self-care – A nail set, hair appointment, or facial? Suddenly it’s giving “should I or should I pay rent?”
🩺 7. Healthcare – The way I Google symptoms and hope for the best now?? Because a simple visit feels like a luxury.
🍿 8. Date nights – Two movie tickets and popcorn used to be cute. Now it’s a whole budgeting decision.
And honestly… it hit me hard. I was tired of feeling stuck, like I was working nonstop just to afford the basics.
I don’t want to live my life tiptoeing around money anymore.
So I did something different. I spent months researching online income and watched women just like me create freedom from their phones, without a crazy background.
Now I’m finally seeing the shift. And I know if I can figure this out… so can literally anyone.
Because let’s be real: life is only getting more expensive.
But your options? They don’t have to stay limited.
