Quiet Moments at Home 🏠 Nervous System Reset

Messy play, loud play, destructive play… and quiet, contained moments too.
All of it has a place.

In the past, activities like baking soda hearts or sensory bins would sometimes leave me feeling overwhelmed and overly controlling. Through practice, patience, and learning to stay regulated in my own body, I’ve been able to let go — and in doing so, my child is able to focus more deeply in his play.

This video is about nervous system health over people-pleasing.
About honouring low-capacity days with calmer choices, and trusting that balance naturally returns.
About staying present when kids choose the unexpected, and allowing them to learn through process rather than correction.

When we support our own regulation, we don’t burn out as easily.
We create more safety — for ourselves and for our children.

If you’re looking for playful, high-fun activities that also support low-energy parents, I’ve created a printable card deck with nervous system prompts for adults on the back.
The link will be coming soon in my next video once my shop is approved! If you would like to purchase the PDF’s before then, email me at [email protected]

Gentle reminder: your nervous system matters too 🤍
