Lesson by request. Sorry for low production value. These are not supposed to be works of art. Just getting info to you.
Remember I spell WA as HA following a subject. The hiragana は is usually pronounced HA, but if it follows a subject it is pronounced WA.
The hiragana for WA is actually わ but わ never follows a subject in standard Japanese. HOWEVER, I have seen わ follow the subject in cutesy kid Japanese. It is used to add "style", but it's WRONG.

これは何ですか?
What is this? (close to me)

Kore ha anata no desuka?
これはあなたのですか?
This is yours?

Sore ha nan desu ka? 
それは何ですか?
What is that? (close to you)

Are ha nan desu ka ?
あれは何ですか?
What is that over there far away from us?

このショットグラスは誰のですか?
Whose shot glass is this?

Sono shotto gurasu ha dare no desu ka?
そのショットグラスは誰のですか?
Whose shot glass is that? (away from the speaker)

Ano ningyou ha dare no desu ka ?
あの人形は誰のですか?
Whose doll is that over there far away from us?

dare=誰=who
ningyou=人形=doll
