Swedish Massage Then to Now | 2000 to 2021
Back in 2000 when I was asked to make a trio of videos for department stores ready for Christmas, little did I know that a few years later strangers would be asking me on messenger whether I was 'the' Victoria Sprigg.
A youtuber called Kezzielegs had uploaded many ten minute segments of the three videos and they'd reached millions of hits each. I didn't own the films and was simply paid a fee for being the therapist in the videos, so was not unhappy about the huge success of the films. I was pleased that people all over the world were enjoying and finding stress relief from those old vids.
The huge success came alongside a new therapy sensation called ASMR, Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Apparently my name and some key YouTube channels back in the early 2000s became synonymous with this new movement.
So here is the mix of yesteryear's video featuring me and the totally gorgeous Pamela, then we flip to 2021 as I treat another delight, Jodi.
