Busan was our second stop in South Korea where we spent a couple days exploring and seeking out a relaxing barbershop experience for a classic haircut, hair wash & style before traveling further. We found what we were looking for at OKID Barbershop.
It was so much fun to meet Jimmy Nam, barber and owner, and we absolutely fell in love with his one-year-old British Shorthair cat who is also named Jimmy ๐๐พ๐ They are always together.๏ปฟ
Here is the haircut, wash, and style video we filmed with Jimmy who was born and raised in Busan, South Korea. Jimmy began cutting hair back in high school when he was 16, and he said his passion was to become a barber.
To learn and train as a barber, he spent a year working in Australia. Then he spent a year traveling through East Asia, Southeast Asia, India, and Europe. On his travels Jimmy found the barbershops so interesting seeing the distinct styles and personalities from around the world.
