Whispered Finnish ASMR – December 1999 Pelit Magazine (My First Finnish Video!) - English subtitles included!

Welcome to a special whispered journey into Finnish gaming nostalgia. In this video, I softly flip through the December 1999 issue of Pelit magazine — a legendary Finnish gaming publication — sharing thoughts, memories, and commentary in Finnish.

This is my very first ASMR video entirely in Finnish. Normally, I speak English on this channel, but I wanted to create something cozy and nostalgic for Finnish-speaking viewers (and curious non-Finns too!). And to test how it feels to make ASMR in Finnish.

Expect:
– Soft whispering
– Page turning sounds
– Gaming news and ads from 1999
– A relaxed trip down memory lane

Let me know what you think — should I make more Finnish ASMR videos?

----------
An autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a tingling sensation that usually begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson. ASMR is a subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

The term ASMR can also refer to media (usually audiovisual) meant to evoke this phenomenon, with the sensation itself being informally referred to as "tingles".
